There was one American Indian or Alaska Native student enrolled in Barbourville Independent School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as in the previous year, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

Data showed that Barbourville Independent School District welcomed 765 student during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian or Alaska Native students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Among the two schools in Barbourville Independent School District, Barbourville City School was the only school that enrolled American Indian or Alaska Native students in the 2022-23 school year.
