15.7% of Owsley County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Owsley County recorded an unemployment rate of 15.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 195 people out of the 4,094 living in Owsley County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.
