Boo Fest was wonderful!

Boo Fest was wonderful! I’d like to thank everyone involved. Lida Collett did a wonderful job organizing the Parade. Bless her heart, she made many steps around The Nixon Center! I’d like to thank Billy and The Sheriff’s Department for all their assistance!

Heather Bowling had an amazing set up for kids and the Face Painting was so cool!  Thanks also to Jace Peters for providing fun also. The Mary Breckinridge Booth was very popular with everyone and Amy Smith of Creative Minds Learning Center sponsored the most fantastic inflatables ever! Diane Whitehead representing The Farmers  Market gave away 60 tshirts!

The bands were very talented! Something for everyone. Bluegrass Cousins and then Unchained for Rock fans!

Delicious food by Roadies BBQ. Everyone was well fed!

A special thanks to Commissioner Randall Combs for driving me and taking me to town several times to check on things.

The Parade was fabulous! Loved all the entries and all the old cars were amazing. Great car show! Wade Mosley did a great job organizing it.

I also want to thank all the Commissioners, Bill Napier, Linda Craft, Randall Combs, and Jennifer Campbell for all their support. What a great group to work with!

The Leslie County Band under the direction of Tara Brown was fantastic. Love those new uniforms!

Our student representative, Logan Sizemore did an excellent job as MC!

I also want to thank Derik Davidson, new city worker, it was his first festival and he did great!

I hope I haven’t left anyone out! I’m so happy and thankful and proud of our town and community!
