Census Bureau: More men than women in Payne Gap in 2020

Of the 588 people living in Payne Gap in 2020, 49.7 percent (292) were women and 50.3 percent (296) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Kentucky News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 8. In the 65 and over age range, there were 24 females and 21 males.
