Census Bureau: More women than men in Payne Gap in 2019

Of the 282 people living in Payne Gap in 2019, 59.2 percent (167) were women and 40.8 percent (115) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Kentucky News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 148-to-72. In the 65 and over age range, there were 19 females and 17 males.
