Cost of college went up for all students at Galen College of Nursing-ARH

Tuition and fees rose 4.2 percent for 2018-19 at Galen College of Nursing-ARH, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $39,690 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,605 more than the $38,085 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 10 students received grants or scholarships totaling $68,677 and 12 students took out student loans totaling more than $88,041.

Including all undergraduates (246), 178 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.1 million, and 207 students took out $1.4 million in federal student loans.
